Though a little chicer than your average bistro, Loulou Friendly Diner still manages to combine hipster and homey. White tile, lots of plants, and rich, dark wood give off a bright but comforting atmosphere, the perfect place to hide out in on a rainy day with an excellent cup of coffee (which will be seasonal, regional, and fair trade — it's their specialty). Pairs will find plenty of seating of inside or on the heated terrace, and single diners can take a seat at the buzzing bar. It's a heartier take on French bobo cuisine with some Australian café flair. 

Hours of Loulou Friendly Diner: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday, 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
