Newark Liberty international airport

In light of recent media coverage in the United States regarding the operation of commercial flights at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), we would like to provide you with some information and clarification.

As of today, all La Compagnie flights to and from Newark (EWR) are maintained and confirmed as scheduled.

Since April 15, major renovation work has been underway at EWR airport, including updates to electronic systems as well as runway and taxiway maintenance. These works, which will continue through October 2025, require the closure of one of the three runways during specific time slots, resulting in limitations on the number of aircraft movements.

During La Compagnie's flight arrival and departure times, these constraints are minimal, and at most, we have experienced slightly longer taxi times for departures to Europe.

Importantly, our on-time departure performance from Newark (EWR) remains very strong, with over 90% of flights departing on schedule. Excluding occasional weather-related issues in Newark (EWR), our on-time arrivals in Europe are also close to 90%.

Our ground staff in Newark (EWR) are fully committed to ensuring high-quality and reliable operations for all our flights, which continue to operate with outstanding punctuality.

Additionally, we would like to inform you that the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is currently experiencing some issues with its Philadelphia air traffic control center, which manages approach and departure procedures for EWR. The numerous delays and cancellations at Newark (EWR) on April 28 primarily affected short-haul flights and did not impact international services, including La Compagnie's flights.

We remain in close contact with airport authorities and relevant agencies to monitor the evolving local situation.

If you are traveling with a connecting flight, our customer service team is available to assist you and answer any questions you may have.
