Protecting your personal data
This policy explains the main ways in which your personal data is used in connection with our services, your journey and your use of our websites and digital services, as well as the rights available to you. It is written to be clear and easily accessible, and reflects the commitments of Dreamjet SAS under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “GDPR”) and the amended French Data Protection Act.
It applies in particular to passengers, to persons who have made a booking directly with Dreamjet SAS or through a third party, and to visitors to our websites and users of our digital services.
Where your booking or your journey involves a third party, such as a travel agency, a tour operator or another intermediary, that third party may process your personal data for its own purposes. For any question concerning such processing, we invite you to consult its privacy policy or to contact it directly. Dreamjet SAS remains responsible for the processing it carries out for its own purposes in connection with your booking and your carriage.
This policy may be updated to reflect regulatory changes or changes to our services or processing activities. We invite you to review it regularly.

Why do we use your data?
Dreamjet SAS collects and processes personal data for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes, by fair and transparent means, in compliance with the regulations applicable to its activity as an air carrier. This processing is necessary in particular:
to make and perform your booking and air carriage contract;
to process payment and prevent fraud;
to provide the services you have requested;
to manage the customer relationship;
to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations;
for aviation safety and security purposes;
to communicate with passengers;
for marketing purposes, where permitted;
to operate and improve our digital services.
On what legal bases?
Depending on the circumstances, the processing carried out by Dreamjet SAS is based on the performance of a contract, compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation, the legitimate interests of Dreamjet SAS, or the consent of the individual where such consent is required.
Our commitments
We indicate whether providing your data is a regulatory or contractual requirement or is optional, and the possible consequences of not providing it.
We limit the data processed to what is necessary and ensure it remains accurate and up to date.
Where processing involves automated decision-making or profiling, we inform you of its existence, its logic and its consequences.
Where we intend to process your data for a new purpose, we inform you beforehand.
We restrict access to data to authorised recipients only and contractually bind our service providers and partners.
We retain data proportionately and ensure its confidentiality and security.
We train our staff on personal data protection and confidentiality.
We frame transfers outside the European Union in accordance with GDPR requirements.
Your data is provided directly by you, by the intermediary that recorded your booking, or collected when you use our websites and digital services. We inform you in each of these situations.
These principles are supported by organisational and technical measures designed to give practical effect to the requirements of the GDPR.
Bookings, travel and regulatory obligations
We process the data necessary for the booking, payment and performance of your carriage contract and for the provision of associated services: managing bookings, issuing tickets and additional services such as seat selection, on-board catering, insurance or access to entertainment services.
Depending on your journey and the applicable regulations, certain information may also be collected, retained or transmitted to the competent French or foreign authorities, in particular in the countries of departure, destination, transit or overflight.
Such processing may respond in particular to obligations relating to air transport, safety, security, border control, immigration, customs, fraud prevention, and the prevention or detection of serious crime.
The information concerned may include information relating to your identity, your booking and your journey, held in your passenger name record (“PNR” data), and, where required by regulation, advance passenger information taken from your travel documents (“API” data). For the flights concerned, this data may be transmitted to the Passenger Information Unit under the conditions laid down by Article L. 232-7 of the French Internal Security Code and by Decree No. 2014-1095 of 26 September 2014.
Your data may also be transmitted to the airline actually operating your flight where it is marketed under a Dreamjet SAS flight number.
Failure to provide this information, or its inaccuracy, may result in denied boarding or refusal of entry into a foreign territory, without Dreamjet SAS incurring any liability.
Data required to meet these obligations may continue to be processed or retained irrespective of any request to unsubscribe from our commercial communications.
Customer relations and communications
Information relating to your journey
We may send you the communications necessary to manage and perform your journey and the services you have purchased, including booking confirmations, flight changes, operational information, delays, cancellations and information relating to check-in or to services associated with your journey.
These communications are necessary to manage your booking or your carriage and are distinct from commercial communications. Unsubscribing from our marketing communications therefore does not prevent us from sending you the information necessary for your journey or for the performance of the services you have purchased.
Managing the customer relationship
We process your data to allow you to manage your online account, to help you resume an interrupted booking, to respond to your requests, handle your claims, provide after-sales service, gather your feedback on the quality of our services and manage your participation in promotional or loyalty operations. This also covers the related administrative operations, in particular accounting, statistics, the management of unpaid amounts and disputes, and the management of security incidents.
Access to your account is protected by credentials whose confidentiality you must preserve.
Calls with our customer service may be recorded in order to handle your request, follow up on the customer relationship and improve the quality of our services.
Information and communication
We also process data for information and communication purposes aimed at people who wish to know more about our activities, in particular for managing our newsletters, our events and our presence on social networks.
Assistance and emergencies
Where necessary, we process the data required to provide assistance suited to your condition, to deliver the care needed in the event of a health problem on board, and to communicate with your relatives in an emergency.
Some of your requests involve the processing of data relating to your health. Such data is processed on the basis of your express request or, in an emergency, to protect your vital interests or those of another person.
Access to this information is strictly limited to authorised staff and it is never used for commercial purposes. A service request, such as a specific meal, does not in itself constitute health data but may, depending on the case, reveal information of that nature.
Commercial communications
Dreamjet SAS may send you information about its offers and services under the conditions provided for by the applicable regulations.
These communications are based, depending on the case, on your consent or on the legitimate interest of Dreamjet SAS in informing you of services similar to those you have already used. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of communications sent before that withdrawal.
You may object at any time to receiving these commercial communications, in particular by using the unsubscribe link included in the relevant emails.
Unsubscribing applies only to commercial communications and does not affect the communications necessary for your booking, your journey or the performance of the services you have purchased.
Cookies and other trackers
Our website uses cookies and other trackers necessary for its operation and, subject to your choices, audience measurement, personalisation or advertising technologies.
Where your consent is required, you may accept, refuse or customise the use of these technologies through our preference manager.
You may change your choices at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page of our website.
Data retention
Personal data is retained for the period necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, extended where applicable by the periods required under the applicable legal or regulatory provisions.
Retention periods take into account, in particular, obligations relating to air transport, safety, security, fraud prevention, accounting and tax obligations, and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Your rights
Under the conditions provided for by the applicable regulations, you have:
a right of access, allowing you to obtain confirmation as to whether data concerning you is being processed and, where applicable, to access it;
a right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
a right to erasure, where the conditions laid down by the regulations are met;
a right to restriction of processing;
a right to object, in particular to direct marketing by email or telephone;
a right to data portability, where applicable;
the right to withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
Limits to the exercise of your rights
These rights do not apply in all situations and are exercised on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the circumstances of the processing and your relationship with Dreamjet SAS. Their exercise may be limited where the processing or retention of certain information remains necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation, in particular in the fields of air transport, safety, security, border control or fraud prevention, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. We examine each request individually and inform you of the outcome.
Complaints
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, in France the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL).
Transfers and recipients
Data may be disclosed, to the extent necessary for their respective tasks, to the authorised departments of Dreamjet SAS as well as to service providers, partners, airlines, airport authorities and competent public authorities involved in the provision of the services or in compliance with applicable obligations.
As part of its international operations, Dreamjet SAS may process or transfer certain data outside the European Union, in particular where this is necessary for the performance of the journey, for compliance with regulatory obligations, or where certain service providers are used.
Where required by the GDPR, such transfers are subject to the appropriate safeguards provided for by the applicable regulations, in particular the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.
